Dr. Craig A. Wagley is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon serving patients in Austintown, Boardman, and communities throughout the Youngstown area. He provides comprehensive surgical care with particular experience in dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, bone reconstruction, and office-based anesthesia.

Education and Dental Training

Dr. Wagley was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and raised in Port Neches, Texas. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1993 from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School, now the UT San Antonio School of Dentistry.

He graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society in recognition of his academic achievement.

Medical Education and Oral Surgery Residency

Dr. Wagley completed a six-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, Ohio.

During his specialty training, he earned his medical degree from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He also completed a general surgery internship at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.

In 1999, Dr. Wagley moved to Canfield, Ohio, and joined Mill Creek Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Associates.

Dr. Wagley is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Board certification reflects the completion of advanced specialty education and a comprehensive examination process covering the scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Outside the Practice

Dr. Wagley met his wife, Pamela, while growing up in Port Neches, Texas. They have six children: Neil, Nicole, Alec, Austin, Jonathan, and Julianne.
